About Us
We’re a not-for-profit based in Sussex, New Brunswick, offering trauma-informed, consent-based equine-assisted healing. Our work is grounded in safety, choice, and relationship.

Founder & President
I’m the Founder and President of Waterford Equine-Assisted Healing, a trauma-informed nonprofit dedicated to helping people heal through connection with horses. I hold a Master’s degree in Adult Education, a Bachelor of Science, and certifications as a Certified Equine Specialist and in Polyvagal-Informed Practice.
My work blends nervous-system awareness, experiential learning, and attuned horsemanship to create safe, choice-based spaces where healing can unfold naturally.
Guided by deep respect for both people and horses, I lead Waterford Equine-Assisted Healing with compassion, integrity, and a belief that real healing happens through connection.
Our Board.
Our Board is a small circle of people who care deeply about the work happening at Waterford Equine-Assisted Healing. Each brings professional expertise — but also lived experience, humility, and a shared belief in creating spaces where healing and connection feel possible.
Together, they help guide the vision and integrity of our programs, supporting a farm where survivors and horses can meet with choice, gentleness, and safety.
The HealingTeam
Our clinicians are more than their roles and credentials — they’re humans who care deeply about creating a gentle, welcoming space for healing. Each person on this team brings their own story, their own values, and a way of being that helps people feel safe, seen, and supported.
As our team comes together, we’ll be introducing the people behind the work — sharing who they are, what draws them to this practice, and what you can expect when you step into session with them.
More coming soon.
